The Altun Ha Ruins are easy to reach and a must see if you’re in Belize. These Mayan ruins are pretty much intact and quite magnificent. You can climb to the top of the main structure for an excellent view and explore the property for smaller ruins. The ruins are less than an hour from the cruise port. One tip is to wear bug repellent. I was bitten several times on the ankles and feet.
