According to Google’s 2013 year-in-review list, Belize was one of the top most searched term for honeymoon destinations in the USA.
Google is the world’s most popular search engine, with 71% of the global search engine market share. The information was derived from the Zeitgeist charts which was published on Tuesday and reveal the hottest travel destinations by country in the world.
“This info is gold if you want to really know what the local hotspots are,” says Google spokesperson Joyce Hau.
White sandy beaches, warm and clear turquoise waters, pristine rainforest, ancient Maya temple cities are a few of the top attractions that draw honeymooners to Belize.
Lyn and Arthur Dobrin who were honeymooning in Belize recently state that Belize provided a sense of ease and comfort and that they were impressed how friendly Belizeans were at the hotels and restaurants that they visited.
