Belize has a long-standing reputation for being one of the most hospitable places in the world. According to Thrillist contributor Colin St. John: “When I went in high school for an immersion trip, the people couldn’t have been more welcoming, especially when they were passing us Belikin beers that we couldn’t have consumed at that age stateside.”

There is so much to do in Belize; from snorkeling around the Belize Barrier Reef to kicking back at a cozy village bar or visiting one of the many historic Mayan ruins.
