Vacation Property Ownership-The New Trend

With all four of the biggest American airlines and Canada’s biggest airline now offering non-stop flights to Belize from major cities across North America, the property market in Belize is red hot. The Placencia Peninsula on the coast of southeastern Belize, long a tourist hotspot, is now booming thanks to new developments and a proposal to expand the local airport so that it can receive international flights.

Investors and retirees seeking to get in on the action can now enjoy world-class luxury thanks to an innovative fractional ownership program by The Placencia Group. Functioning much like a time share, investors can buy a stake in a luxury property for a fraction of the total purchase price.

This unique program allows investors to either use their property for up to five weeks a year as a vacation home or lease any unused time through the  Group’s management team at fair market rates, thus ensuring a reliable return on the investment. The fractional ownership program functions on a basis of shares. Investors can purchase a single share in the program or multiple shares.

The Placencia Group is a major developer on the Placencia Peninsula, one of the most popular tourist areas in the country. The Placencia Casino was completed in 2016 and is a world-class entertainment facility. Other completed projects include the Placencia Hotel, condominiums, homes, lots & boat slips  The show house called The Castle is the perfect example of  that luxury living looks like in Placencia, enjoying a fabulous view of both mountains on the mainland as well as the Caribbean.

Fractional ownership shares are available at the gated community called The Placencia Residences. The Laguna Gecko neighborhood located on the shore on a privately-owned lagoon has three-story, four-bedroom homes available with 1,900 feet of interior space & over 1800 feet of verandah that are available for $150,000 for a 10% stake. Whether it’s used as a vacation home for you and your guests or leased for corporate gatherings, group/family vacations, and retreats, luxury homes like those in the Laguna Gecko neighborhood offer an attractive return on your investment.

Future plans for the area include a gun club, golf course, private marina (big enough for super yachts), gourmet restaurants, a hospital, heliport, equestrian center, and a Special Economic Zone for businesses. The Placencia Group offers financing
