Why Belize Is One of the Best Places to Travel in 2024

The Belize Tourism Board has announced a significant enhancement in accessibility to Belize, with seasonal airlifts from WestJet and Air Canada and a host of new experiences for visitors in 2024.

WestJet and Air Canada Increase Flights to Belize

WestJet is set to resume flights

Starting November 1, 2023, WestJet commenced its seasonal airlift which will run through May 4, 2024. This year marks an expansion in their services with additional nonstop flights from Toronto and Calgary to Belize City. The Toronto service operates three times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday), while the Calgary route offers two weekly flights (Friday and Saturday).

Air Canada Rouge also joins the expansion with seasonal flights from Toronto. This service, offering a weekly flight every Friday, began on December 8, 2023, and will continue until March 29, 2024. These increased flight options provide Canadians with more flexibility and convenience in planning their trips to Belize’s renowned beaches, jungles, and cultural hotspots.
