History:

Taste of Belize” is Belize Tourism Board’s culinary signature event, geared toward setting a higher standard and demand for excellence in Belize’s culinary art plateau. First launched in 2002, it has continuously grown in popularity both internationally and locally.  Another historic move toward expansion has led to the change of venue, from Belize City to the Cayo District.

The fusion of cultural dishes provides visitors with a true sense of Belize’s diversity.  Creativity is a must, and a variety of secret ingredients challenges these chefs to add depth to their already unique Belizean dish.   The winner then walks away with the title of, “Belize’s Master Chef”.

This event continues to lure foodies from all walks of life, to Belize.  Ask questions, take notes and see the pros as they race against the clock to plate their creations.  With the change of venue from Belize City to the remote
