New Flight Routes Open Up Belize As A Major Travel Destination

For travelers looking to visit Belize, the Caribbean gem is now more accessible than ever. An increasing number of major airlines have established direct routes to Belize from key cities across North America.

From the west coast of the United States, Alaska Airlines offers direct flights both from Seattle and Los Angeles. Further east, American Airlines connects Belize directly with Miami, Charlotte, and Dallas.

Midwesterners in the United States can board Delta Airlines from either Atlanta or Minneapolis. For those in the northeast, JetBlue has opened a direct route from JFK in New York.

South-central U.S. residents have multiple options. Southwest Airlines offers direct flights from Houston and has also added Denver and Baltimore/Washington routes. Meanwhile, Sun Country provides another direct option from Minneapolis.

United Airlines casts a wide net, connecting Belize with several major hubs including Houston, Chicago, Denver, Newark, and Los Angeles.

Our neighbors up north in Canada aren’t left out either. WestJet facilitates direct flights from both Toronto and Calgary. Additionally, Air Canada has a direct route from Toronto, catering to the ever-growing Canadian travelers eager to explore Belize.

But Belize isn’t just a North American attraction. Latin America and other Caribbean destinations are increasingly connecting to Belize. Copa Airlines brings in travelers from Panama City, while TAG Airlines connects Guatemala City to Belize.

Lastly, Belize’s very own Tropic Air bridges the nation with other hotspots in the region. They operate flights from Cancun, Roatan, San Salvador, and San Pedro Sula directly to Belize, providing convenience and connectivity for travelers from these areas.
