In an exciting development for adventurous travelers, Avanti Destinations has teamed up with the Belize Tourism Board to introduce new, customizable travel packages to Belize, a destination rapidly gaining popularity for its diverse attractions.
Paul Barry, CEO of Avanti Destinations, highlights Belize’s unique appeal: “Belize consistently ranks among our top sellers in Latin America. The combination of palm-fringed beaches, calm Caribbean waters protected by the second largest living barrier reef in the world, ancient Maya temples in the rainforest, and soft adventure activities such as ziplining and cave tubing, along with the fascinating ethnic groups like the Garifuna, make Belize a warm weather getaway with something for every kind of FIT client.”

The partnership has led to the addition of two new customizable vacation options to Avanti’s Belize portfolio. These include the “Cayo & the Coast,” an eight-day vacation featuring a mix of rainforest and beach experiences. Highlights of this package include a new seven-hour cave tubing and zipline tour, a shared all-day tour of Rangana Caye, a visit to the largest Maya temple, Caracol, and wildlife spotting.
The other addition is the nine-day “Undiscovered Belize” package, which offers a deep dive into the Maya and Garifuna cultures. This package includes a new cave tubing and zipline tour, a Garifuna cultural and culinary experience, a jaguar sanctuary and chocolate tour, group tours of Maya temples, cave swimming, and a half-day snorkeling tour to explore the marine life and Belize’s famous coral reefs.

Both packages come with the convenience of private transfers and a choice of accommodations. Additional day tours can be added, including the jungle pontoon boat waterfall adventure, the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve tour, and the Living Maya Experience and Nim li Punit tour.
To assist travel advisors in offering these new experiences to their clients, Avanti and the Belize Tourism Board are providing several resources. A webinar is scheduled for Jan. 30, where advisors can learn about these offerings and booking procedures. Additionally, a new 32-page e-book titled “Belize: Where Adventure Meets Paradise” is available, along with a 25-minute video recording of a Belize booking guide.

Barry further adds, “Adding to the appeal of Belize is that the US dollar is widely accepted and, as a former British territory, English is one of the major languages. Most of our Belize bookings combine the rainforest with the beach and reef, with the average duration of a Belize stay being seven days.”
This partnership between Avanti Destinations and the Belize Tourism Board promises to offer unique and memorable experiences for travelers looking to explore Belize’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.
