Belize has officially welcomed the inaugural Air Canada flight from Montreal, marking the first direct service between Quebec and Belize. The flight arrived on December 8, opening a new gateway for Canadian travelers and expanding Belize’s international connectivity.
The new route allows seamless same-day connections from 23 major European cities, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Madrid, Rome, and Vienna. The service complements Air Canada’s existing same-day connection from Toronto.
Air Canada has also increased capacity on its Toronto–Belize route, upgrading from an A319 to an A320, adding roughly 30 more seats per flight due to rising demand.
The Belize Tourism Board says the expanded access invites travelers from across Europe and Canada to explore Belize’s beaches, jungles, reef, Maya heritage, and cultural attractions. Tickets for the Montreal–Belize service are available at aircanada.com and through travel partners.
