Belizean Songstress Melonie Gillett Launches New TV Show and Music Video

Melonie Gillett launches her new Come Away TV Show and Music Video for the song entitled “Come Away” today, August 14, 2012.  The music video and TV Show were directed by Ben Hudson, a home-grown Belizean, of Star Base Films. It features a number of locations across Belize including Robert’s Grove Beach Resort, Mama Noots, Bocawina Mayflower Park, BACAB Eco Park, Caye Caulker, Placencia, and Altun Ha!

The entire project provides industry standard quality, raising the bar yet again for the music industry in Belize. The Come Away song, track #14 on Melonie Gillett’s “The Dreamer” Album, is an invitation to Come Away to Belize and experiences all the wonderful things that Belize has to offer.

The Come Away Project includes a TV Show, music video and website launch which will all be launched Tuesday, August 14, 2012, on Channel 7, Belize City at 8.pm. The Project documents Melonie’s journey in capturing the essence of Belize and depict the lyrics of the Come Away song.  You can also find more information on the comeawaybelize.com website, which will also be launched today at 8p.m.

Melonie Gillett is a Belizean singer/songwriter/model who has been singing professionally for the last 7 years. She has collaborated with Director of Star Base Films, Ben Hudson to create a dynamic Music Video and TV Show representing Belize to the fullest. We invite you to join us on this campaign in an effort to highlight our jewel and its talents.
