WestJet Resumes Nonstop Flights from Calgary and Toronto to Belize City

Travel enthusiasts and winter escapees from Canada have a reason to rejoice as WestJet announces the return of its seasonal nonstop flights from Calgary and Toronto to Belize City, beginning November 2023.

Calgary Takes Flight to Belize

Starting from October 29th to November 5th, WestJet will offer a once-weekly flight connecting Calgary to Belize. The frequency will double from November 6th, continuing through to April 27th,2024. These flights are scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays, taking off from Calgary at 8:35 AM and touching down in Belize City by 2:23 PM. For those returning, flights depart Belize at 4:25 PM and land in Calgary at 9:44 PM.

Toronto Amplifies Connection to Belizean Shores

Travelers from Toronto will benefit from an increased schedule. Between October 29th and December 17th, WestJet will operate two flights weekly. This will be amplified to three times weekly from December 18th to April 27th, with departures on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The journey from Toronto begins at 10:15 AM and concludes in Belize City by 12:54 PM. Return flights are set to leave Belize City at 3:00 PM, arriving back in Toronto at 8:22 PM.

The resumption of these flights stands as a testament to the growing appeal of Belize as a prime winter destination and the strengthening ties between Canada and Belize.
