Southwest Airlines to add nonstop flight from Denver to Belize City

Next year, Southwest Airlines will add a seasonal and non stop flight from Denver Colorado to Belize City.

The flight will be offered during the peak season and will commence on March 11 and go through April 22.

The weekly flights will be on planes that have 143 seats and will leave at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Denver International Airport and arrive in Belize City at 2:50 p.m. local time.

Last year more than 13,000 passengers from Denver visited Belize and 25% of travel between Denver and Belize City happens around March and April, according to the Denver Post.

Belize Hub welcomes this news and looks forward to seeing more direct flights from U.S cities to Belize.
