The Belize Tourism Board recently hosted two significant media presentations, reaching out to sixty of the most influential travel trade and consumer publications based in San Paulo, Brazil, and the broader Latin American region. The move represents a strategic step towards further bolstering Belize’s appeal to the international travel market.
TM Americas, the newly appointed marketing agency to represent Belize in Latin America, played a key role in introducing the attendees to Mrs. Nicole Solano, CEO at the Ministry of Tourism & Diaspora Relations. Mrs. Solano enlightened the audience on the diverse attractions Belize has to offer, highlighted upcoming hotel developments, and discussed the sustainability strategies that have been implemented to preserve the country’s natural treasures for future generations.
A special guest at the event, Raphael De Lucca, Copa Airlines’ Country Manager in Brazil, provided insights into the available connectivity options with Copa Airlines to Belize. He outlined routes through Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras, and discussed the potential of combining Belizean travels with Panama. De Lucca’s presence underscored the strong ties and significant potential for increased cooperation between Belize and its Latin American partners.
These presentations signal a concerted effort by the Belize Tourism Board to showcase Belize as a top destination in the international travel market. The focus on sustainability, new developments, and increased accessibility underscores Belize’s readiness to welcome visitors while preserving its unique natural assets.
The Belize Tourism Board’s initiative aims to cultivate new relationships and strengthen existing ties with key industry stakeholders in Brazil and across Latin America. The ultimate goal is to enhance Belize’s reputation as a diverse, accessible, and sustainably managed travel destination that resonates with discerning travelers worldwide.
