Being behind on writing new material sometimes means digging into the archives of past travels. I started Travels Without Pants as a way of documenting and sharing my dream trip of a lifetime – a minimum year long backpacking trip around the world, but I’ve always loved traveling and writing but both as separate pursuits.

Before the big RTW it was a goal of mine to leave the United States at least once a year to visit a foreign destination. Reflecting upon past travels is a great way to recognize not only how my style of travel has changed but also my perspective. At the core of my reflections however is the opportunity to relive past adventures.
