Alaska Airlines Announce New Direct Flights Into Belize

There are now more reasons to visit the jewel, in fact, there are now more ways to fly in and let yourself loose in the natural wonders of Belize, with Alaska’s latest announcement of adding nonstop flights from Seattle Washington to Belize.

As the world rebounds from the pandemic, and pandemic weary guests are gearing up to get in on some revenge travel, there is no way that you would want to miss out on all the fun, especially with newer ways of accessing Belize from the West Coast such as the non-stop flight from Seattle to Belize, which will be available as early as November 22nd, 2022.

Tropic Air Belize first tooted the announcement earlier this week that their colleagues over at Alaska Airlines would be adding flights through the Seattle (SEA) Tacoma International Airport to Belize on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays departing at 8:00 a.m. from Seattle and arriving in Belize at 16:10. From Belize to Seattle flights will depart Belize on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 11:00 a.m and will arrive in Seattle at 15:50.

Alaska Airlines also service Belize through the Los Angeles (LAX) to Belize route on weekends, including through the summer and Thanksgiving. That schedule is also expected to be boosted up to include flights on Fridays and Saturdays. According to the airline, those will depart Los Angeles at 10:30 a.m and arrive in Belize at 17:15. On Saturdays and Sundays, flights will depart Belize at 10:00 and arrive in Los Angeles at 13:30.

Other direct flights from North America to Belize are also available through major hubs such as Toronto, Canada Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, LA, and Denver. A direct flight from London Heathrow, with just a short connection stop in Miami, is also available for travelers for the busy winter and Spring break.

American Airlines has daily direct flights from Miami Florida or Dallas Texas, while United Airlines, also flies daily from out of Houston Texas, or Newark New Jersey to Belize. West Jet departs and returns to Toronto on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and weekly Fridays from Calgary (only during Belize’s high tourism season Nov to April). Southwest Airlines also flies daily to Belize via Houston Hobby TX, Ft. Lauderdale Florida, and Denver Colorado. Frontier Airlines also fly to Belize via Orlando, Florida, and Denver Colorado. Copa Airlines has flights to Belize via Panama City while Tropic Airlines service Belize via Cancun, Merida, Roatan, San Pedro Sula, and Flores, Guatemala.

With all those flights coming into Belize, an excuse not to visit the jewel will be hard to come by. Book your next flight as soon as possible, start packing those swimsuits, and set off on an adventure to experience all things Belizean, ranging from the culture, food, people, flora, fauna, and all of its unspoiled natural beauty, inland and on the coast.
