Belize – A pearl in the Caribbean

The former British colony of British-Honduras, nowadays known as Belize, is one of the very special destinations in the Caribbean.

Belize is located in the southeast of the Yucatán Peninsula and is bordered to the north by Mexico, on the west by Guatemala, and to the east by the Caribbean Sea.

The average annual temperature is pleasantly warm with 29.5 degrees Celsius. 200.000 thousand tourists find their way to Belize every year. Belize is very popular amongst surfers and divers due to its reefs and reef coasts, but even tourists that are not into watersports will find plenty to experience there.
