Haven’t Visited Robert’s Grove Beach Resort Lately? Prepare for Surprises!
We dug down really deep to unravel the mystery. No luck. It seems that Robert–for whom Robert’s Grove in Belize was named–is lost to history, so we’re going to have to focus on the amazing things going on today in Placencia—and, in particular, one of the most expansive resort renovations to have been undertaken of late at the Roberts Grove Beach Resort.
This popular, 22-acre, Hacienda-style Belize resort made the pages of the best-selling book, “1,000 Places to See Before You Die,” so staying at this elegantly revamped hideaway certainly belongs on your bucket list!
If you’ve visited in the past and expect to find only cursory changes, you’re going to be enchanted. The following specifics are of particular note, and if they don’t convince you to stay here the next time you come to Placencia, don’t blame us if you wind up staying elsewhere because every available accommodation at Robert’s Grove Resort has already been booked!
-Every seaside room has been redecorated from floor to ceiling, repainted in trendy colors that brighten every inch of these luxury suites and then finished with elegant furnishings, high-quality linens and drapes to match that morph already lovely rooms into magazine-worthy enclaves of tranquility and comfort.
-Landscape artists re-evaluated the lush grounds surrounding the resort and made changes to ramp up the tropical splendor already in place at Robert’s Grove. True, the resort already had a solid reputation for hosting group functions, lavish weddings and receptions, but the facility now has even more options for turning an ordinary celebration into an extraordinary one.
-Robert’s Grove Beach Resort has also elevated its service and activity menus to include expanded concierge services, so guests seeking help booking tours, excursions and adventures can expect more choices. We are happy customize an outing for guests who prefer to explore Belize’s natural wonders in smaller groups, and we are eager to accommodate guests whose schedules or physical limitations require special arrangements.
-We also upgraded and expanded the Roberts Grove Resort’s complimentary shuttle service that links guests with Placencia Village twice daily, so no guest need worry about having to rent a car or find transportation to get back and forth between the tranquility of the resort and the excitement of the village.
-The Grove, the resort’s popular seaside restaurant, has a new face, too. Menu selections have been expanded and now include dishes made with locally-grown ingredients plus lighter, healthier options for guests who want to take their meals on the grounds but don’t want to pack on the pounds while on vacation.
-New to the resort is the laid-back Dockside Deli at the marina–your destination for fresh salads, savory sandwiches made with freshly-baked bread and yummy desserts. Alternately, Habanero’s, our onsite Mexican eatery, continues to serve its popular Tuesday night buffet, soups, sides and more, and there’s always a daily special at Sweet Mama’s Belizean Restaurant to satisfy your craving for ethnic dishes.
You’ll love all of these changes if you’re returning—and if this is your first Roberts Grove Beach Resort experience, don’t be surprised if you start thinking about a longer holiday or if the idea of relocating or retiring here doesn’t dominate your thoughts! It happens. The Marina Residences development still has lots for sale at $200,000 USD, General Sales Tax (GST) included. Contact Michael Kramer at [email protected] and give him the dates of your visit so he can show you what your future looks like if you join ex-pats who have flocked here and wouldn’t dream of leaving!
