Southwest Airlines has recently increased their international footprint with a new flight from Denver to Belize City that began on March 11, 2017. This joins Southwest’s existing Houston-Belize flight that began in 2016 and a new scheduled route from Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood that will begin on June 4, 2017. Southwest’s entry into the crowded US-Belize travel market has sent airfare prices to historic lows as reported by top travel sites Kayak.com and others.
