Belize International Airport to re-open on August 15th 2020

Dean Barrow, the Prime Minister of Belize announced this morning that the Belize International Airport will reopen on August 15th 2020 for international travelers.
According to the government of Belize, the decision to reopen the international airport was made in conjunction with Belize’s Ministry of Health and took into consideration the ongoing guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States.
The international airport has been closed since March 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
