Belize Shines with Multiple Honors at the 2023 Travvy Awards

Belize has emerged as a shining star at the 2023 Travvy Awards, further cementing its reputation as a world-class travel destination. The prestigious awards, which took place at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center on November 2nd, were hosted by Northstar Travel Group’s TravelPulse.com and AGENTatHOME.

Often heralded as the “Oscars of the travel industry,” the Travvy Awards are known for honoring the best in travel, from destinations to hotels and airlines to tour operators.

At this event, Belize was lauded with awards in several categories:

Silver for Best Destination in Central and South America: Belize’s enchanting blend of pristine beaches, lush rainforests, and rich cultural heritage earned it the silver award in this coveted category.
Bronze for Best Cruise Destination in Central and South America: The country’s allure as a cruise destination was recognized, highlighting its blend of natural beauty and cultural experiences.
Silver for Best Wedding Destination in Central and South America: Belize’s picturesque landscapes and romantic venues were celebrated, making it a premier choice for destination weddings.
Silver for Best Tourism Board in Central and South America: The Belize Tourism Board’s efforts to promote the country and grow its tourism sector were acknowledged with a silver award.
Silver for Best Luxury Hotel Resort in Central and South America: Itz-ana Resort represented Belize in the luxury category, showcasing the best of Belizean hospitality.
