The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) welcomes COPA Airlines’ announcement this week that it will resume its weekly service to Belize effective June 2021.

COPA Airlines first introduced service to Belize from Panama in December 2015 but had to suspend operations in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic crippled the global travel industry.

The BTB has maintained strong relationships with its international airline partners throughout the COVID pandemic and continues to seek opportunities to further expand access to the destination.  COPA’s resumption of service will create new opportunities to promote and sell the destination to key markets within South America and Europe.
