Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye Hosts Grand Opening in Belize

The tropical paradise of Belize witnessed a majestic event as Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye unveiled its grandeur to the world. With the iconic Caribbean waters as its backdrop, the grand opening ceremony was an extravagant affair graced by the presence of the Prime Minister of Belize, The Honorable John Briceño, along with other notable dignitaries, executives, and influencers.

Kenya Guzman, General Manager of the resort, shared, “We were honored to welcome these esteemed guests to Margaritaville Beach Resort Ambergris Caye, Belize to officially celebrate the property’s grand opening.” The special day commenced with attendees arriving via a picturesque boat ride to the resort’s brand-new private dock. They were welcomed with a signature cocktail and a chance to revel in the luxurious suites of the property.

The evening ambiance of the Caribbean was complemented by live entertainment and exquisite island cuisine at Riddles in the Sand, the resort’s primary dining destination.

A subsequent exclusive tour of the property provided insights into its unique offerings. This was followed by a grand beachside ceremony. Notable remarks were delivered by the Honorable John Briceño; Michael H. M. Bowen, President and CEO of Bowen & Bowen Ltd.; Honoree Nicole Solano, CEO of Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations; Esteban Velasquez, CEO of Karisma Hotels & Resorts; and Dan Leonard, President of Margaritaville.

Guests were further treated to an underwater extravaganza at Hol Chan Marine Reserve. They got a chance to swim alongside turtles, barracudas spotted eagle rays, and even nurse sharks at Shark-Ray Alley. The subsequent day concluded with relaxing moments in private cabanas, a sumptuous dinner at Sunbaked BBQ, and cozy seaside bonfires.
