“2013 Belize Archaeology and Anthropology Symposium”

Under the theme “Ancient Maya Households and Social Identity in Belize,” be enlightened by the legacy of Belize’s Ancient Maya through vivid insights into the latest discoveries by Archaeologists working in Belize. Join us this July 2nd-5th, 2013, and let the “2013 Belize Archaeology and Anthropology Symposium” quench your thirst for stimulating knowledge and discussions about the Maya.

This symposium provides audiences with a link into the social landscape of the Ancient Maya as well as proposing ideas on how the organization of households affected change within the society.  The event will be held over a 4-day period at the San Ignacio Resort Hotel in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District, starting daily at 8:30 a.m.
