“Eight years ago, we knew that Belize would become a world-class destination because of its natural beauty, culture and proximity to major markets. Ka’ana’s success in the jungle continues to exceed our expectations. With the entire destination now coming of age, we’re thrilled to launch Itz’ana on the beach in Placencia and share this investment opportunity,” said Colin Hannan, developer.

The 39 luxury boutique cottages and villas are designed for waterfront living featuring tall windows and doors with high ceilings to emphasize spacious, open-air living. Boston-based architect Roberto de Oliveira Castro, a native of the region, uses traditional forms and materials to deliver a modern take on Belize’s British colonial past. Famed interior designer Samuel Amoia will outfit the residences. Itz’ana Resort & Residences vary in size from 1,000-5,000 square feet, with opening prices ranging from $240,000 – $925,000 (USD). Buyers will have the opportunity to choose between beach or lagoon front living, with all residences located directly on the waterfront.
