Beginning March 9, 2024, Southwest’s new non-stop flight to Belize will operate on Saturdays only as a seasonal service. The return flight will depart Belize (BZE) at 12:00 pm, arriving back in Baltimore (BWI) at 5:50 pm.
Additionally, on March 9th, Southwest will introduce an extra Saturday service from Houston, Hobby, increasing the service to Houston to 8 times a week. The Denver route will also be increased from once a week to twice a week (Saturday and Sunday). All these new flights are already available for booking on www.southwest.com.
Minister Mahler expressed his excitement about the new flight, saying, “The new flight from Baltimore will further enhance air connectivity for the diaspora and visitors in the Eastern Continental United States. This expansion allows visitors even more opportunities to enjoy the splendor of our jewel. We look forward to welcoming our new passengers to Belize.”
The additional flight options will surely foster greater connections between Belize and these major American cities, strengthening tourism and economic ties. With the country’s rich cultural heritage and beautiful natural landscapes, Belize continues to be a sought-after destination for travelers from all over the world. The expansion of Southwest’s services will no doubt contribute to making Belize more accessible and appealing to even more visitors.
