Miss the 2019 “Made in Belize” Expo and You’ll Regret It!
With each passing year, Belize citizens have more reasons to take pride in their homeland, a fact that is not lost on people from around the globe who choose the nation first when it comes to retirement and investing.
With an economy bolstered by emerging industries and the growing list of new enterprises popping up every year, everyone gets an opportunity to see exactly how much Belize is flourishing on June 1, 2019. On that day, the “Made in Belize” Expo opens for business.
Belize-made products and goods will be on display at Mae Gordon Park on Hummingbird Avenue in Belmopan from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors will find locally-made crafts, handcrafted jewelry, wood furniture, plants, fresh fruits and vegetables, goat milk soap, beauty products, honey, chocolate and more.
Why should you come and spend the day browsing and admiring? For many reasons, the most important of which is this one: How will you know what to brag about when tourists and people curious about Belize ask you to describe industries and businesses that are currently putting Belize on the world map?
First staged on June 16, 2018, the 2019 event is expected to build on the success of last year’s event by showcasing more products and goods than those on display last year. Based on 2018 Expo attendance numbers, this year’s crowd size is expected to be larger, too, driven by the fact that the nation’s industries and businesses will only be on exhibit for a single day.
Come for the day. Bring friends and family members. There will be plenty of music, entertainment, local food, and beverages on the fairgrounds so you can stay fueled while you see all of the Expo. It’s worth postponing anything on your calendar or you will have to wait until 2020 to see this much Belize bounty in one location!
