
The vibrant community of Punta Gorda Town is thrilled to announce the upcoming 9th Annual Yellow Ginger Festival, a celebration of Belize’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. This much-anticipated event will take place on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at the picturesque Punta Gorda Town Welcome Center.
The festival promises a day filled with excitement and cultural immersion, featuring live music by Di Fresh, traditional food demonstrations like dhal roti spreading and frying, cohune cabbage cutting, and a spicy tacari sano eating contest. Attendees can also look forward to engaging activities and entertainment throughout the day.
The event will be hosted by Ms. Miriam Codd, “Turbo Man” Mr. Paul Mahung, and Mr. Raphael Martinez Sr.
