WestJet and Air Canada Expand Seasonal Flights to Belize for Winter 2025-2026

Belize is set to welcome even more Canadian travelers this upcoming winter with the expansion of seasonal flights from WestJet and Air Canada, offering greater convenience and connectivity for visitors from across North America and beyond.

The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has confirmed that WestJet’s seasonal flights from both Toronto and Calgary will begin on October 30, 2025, starting earlier than previous years and running through May 10, 2026. With the addition of Monday service on select routes, the total flight capacity will increase by an impressive 45% compared to last season, giving travelers more flexibility for their Belize vacations.

From Calgary to Belize City, WestJet will operate twice weekly from October 30 to December 14, 2025, then increase to three times weekly from December 15, 2025, to April 12, 2026, with service on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The schedule then shifts back to twice weekly from April 13 to April 26, 2026, before concluding with once-weekly Saturday flights until May 3, 2026. From Toronto to Belize City, service will start with two weekly flights from October 30 to November 9, 2025, move to three weekly flights from November 10 to December 14, 2025, and peak at four weekly flights from December 15, 2025, to April 12, 2026, operating Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The frequency will then decrease to three times weekly from April 13 to April 26, 2026, twice weekly from April 27 to May 3, 2026, and once weekly until May 10, 2026.

Air Canada will further boost Belize’s accessibility with the launch of a brand-new Montreal to Belize City route starting December 8, 2025, running twice weekly until March 2, 2026, and resuming from March 9 to April 6, 2026.

Flights will depart Montreal at 5:45 PM and arrive in Belize City at 9:05 PM, offering a comfortable travel window for visitors. From Toronto, Air Canada’s seasonal flights to Belize City will operate on March 6, March 27, and April 10, 2026, with morning departures at 10:10 AM and arrivals in Belize City between 12:45 PM and 2:00 PM.

According to Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism, Youth, Sports and Diaspora Relations, “WestJet’s expanded commitment to Belize reflects the growing demand we continue to see from Canadian travelers. With more frequency and more seats, Belize is becoming even more accessible for winter getaways and extended stays.”

These expanded flight schedules mean travelers from Canada, Europe, and beyond can now connect more easily to Belize’s pristine beaches, vibrant culture, and adventure-filled landscapes, making 2025-2026 one of the most accessible tourism seasons yet.
